COSTA RICA

Costa Rica is the only country in the Americas where Roman Catholicism is the state religion due to their constitution’s ongoing official contributions of tributing, maintaining, and adhering to these religious practices. As a result, the catholic church and the state are closely intertwined where Catholicism has become deeply rooted in their culture, but the freedom of religion is also embraced by the their constitution as well.

While the few Christians churches in Costa Rica are being prayed for and winning some converts, we are hoping to equip many more Christian witnesses to go out and make disciples. Our team has been continually partnering with local pastors and churches through this Great Commission movement.
